I've been wondering that myself, Kenny. I know much of my activity has transitioned to Twitter and Facebook because it's far easier to quickly post random thoughts and links to cool stuff. I've never been much of a long-form journal writer anyway, and I usually feel my shorter missives don't merit a full post.

If I need to actually write something, LJ it is. If I need to leave a cryptic message about my lunch, Facebook.

Nah! Facebook has more immediacy for random crap but I like reading longer entries from people I want to keep track of in life.
